In my experience undergoing a remodel is almost always pain and misery. Dust, debris and so many decisions to make, including who to trust with your home and your money. That said, working with Scott was one of the best experiences I have had to date. He was responsive and helpful throughout the remodel. He gave us his opinions when appropriate but didn't push anything on us. His tile work is second to none and we look forward to working with him again in the near future. Go for the custom tile shower, it's worth it!

We had a wonderful experience remodeling our bathroom with, Scott Gessin. We were due to have a baby in a couple of weeks and had an impulsive idea to gut our bathroom and totally remodel it. We ultimately went with Scott to do the job. He worked quickly and efficiently to renovate the bathroom in under two weeks — incredible! He has the contacts to call electricians, plumbers and plasterers to come and do the work on the spot, something that would take us weeks to do. He worked with us to decide what to buy and again, had the contacts at the stores to order and get what we needed quickly. He is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and reliable (he showed up everyday and early in the morning). We highly recommend Scott for any home renovation project. Guess, what? The bathroom was done before the baby arrived!

Metrowest Home Remodeling added a bathroom, expanded and renovated our deck, and installed a double french door. We love it! Everyone who has seen the work says it looks original to our antique home. Scott is the most professional, patient and customer-focused contractor we have ever worked with. Scott showed that he took our budget constraints very seriously. At the same time, he never skimped on the quality with which he executed our work. Our older home has presented challenges for many home improvement contractors in the past. Scott is a craftsman as well as a creative problem solver who meets challenges with a smile and a can-do attitude. We got quite used to seeing him around and were even a little bit sad that we wouldn't see him as much when the job was over. You can tell everyone who works with Scott respects him and likes him. He seems to be able to get subcontractors to show up at will. Whether he was advocating for us in front of the planning board of appeals, keeping the jobsite safe for our kids, or working hard to get the job done right and on time, Scott never let us feel that we didn't get 110% of the value for the time and money we spent with him. We followed up with another little project with Scott right away and have referred him to friends and family. He will definitely get the first call for our future projects.

Scott did an awesome job on our newly renovated bathroom, we were very pleased with his work!!He completed the job in a very timely manner and was very professional and easy to work with, exceeding our expectations in every way!! Our Travertine tiled shower stall and floor looks amazing..... he was very artistic in laying out the tiles on the wall - it blew our minds!!!.. Chris is also a joy to work!! Metrowest Home Remodeling is terrific! When we were ready to list our last house for sale, they were invaluable with their work on updating our kitchen and bathrooms. They did amazing work with tile, cabinetry, counter tops, and countless other things. They definitely deserve a large portion of credit for the quick sale of our home. When we needed updating of our new house, there was no question that they would be our choice. Yet again, they updated flooring, bathrooms, and the kitchen. Their workmanship is excellent, and their professionalism is even better. They are easy to get a hold of when you need them and they respond quickly to questions and concerns. This was our first, big, remodeling project and from the moment we met you, we felt comfortable discussing our project with you. Communication with the contractor is critical to the project’s success and you surpassed our expectations as you timely returned our phone calls or responded to our emails. We appreciated the fact that you took the extra time to guide us through every step of the process by letting us know when to buy the materials and by suggesting places to purchase the material. This made the project less overwhelming.

You always went the extra mile, even if it was outside the project’s scope of work. For example, you fixed the lock on our front door and even cleaned out a clogged gutter while up on the roof completing another part of the job.

They made our first remodeling experience the best from consultation to finished project (the bathroom looks fantastic)and on more than one occasion went above and beyond. Metrowest Home Remodeling are the nicest, most trust-worthy people you will ever come across. The communication was top notch; they called back, and came when they were supposed to. They were great listeners and the process was laid out step by step. They took our busy schedules into consideration and adapted their schedules. They CLEANED UP and were very conscientious of keeping things neat. I was so happy to have contractors that actually had their own creative ideas for the space, and not just relying on the homeowner. They had great suggestions on where to purchase material and most of all, always had lots of energy and enthusiasm when they came to work! Our new master bath is awesome! I cannot say enough. They went above and beyond the call of duty several times without even being asked; they patched our kitchen sealing where we had severe water damage from our old bathroom, moved light fixtures and more. A huge thank you and I can't wait to hire you guys back to do more remodeling! I can honestly say the Hancock clan misses seeing you guys around our house : )

This was the first time we had ever attempted a major renovation. Our house was built in 1892 and belonged to my grandmother. The bathroom had last been updated in 1970 and was in serious need of a complete overhaul. The bathroom was very small but Scott and Ed pointed out that we could expand into an adjacent room. I was concerned about how all that would look when it was done since they were moving the entrance to the bathroom and adding a linen closet. They did an unbelievable job. Completely gutted out the old bathroom, expanded it, changed the layout completely. The tile looks beautiful. We now have huge vanity that we never thought we could fit. And the luxury of a linen closet. Believe me, in 1892, they were not concerned with storage space. Beautiful, beautiful job!! We only have the one bathroom so it was pretty hard to make the plunge for a complete gutting out. Scott and Ed were there every day without fail. Completed the bathroom to the point we could use it in just a couple of weeks. Completely done in about 4 weeks! Just amazing. And so easy to work with.
